Levi’s Link Run Raises over $35,000 for Special Needs Hospital Program

Mid Michigan Materials is proud to announce that their recent Levi’s Link 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk raised over $35,000 for the new Levi’s Link program to assist special needs patients at McLaren Port Huron Hospital. The unique run took place throughout the Mid Michigan Materials – Wilson Pit on Sunday, June 24 and over 325 runners supported the cause.

Levi’s Link is a first-of-its-kind program in the state of Michigan providing individualized care for patients with special needs at McLaren Port Huron Hospital.  The program was established to improve the hospital experience of patients with special needs (including autism, down syndrome, sensory processing disorders, and other special needs) who may be stressed by the normal activity that occurs during a hospital visit.
